Select a video file to reveal the Convert to buttons. MP4 is the default output. Choose MOV, MKV, WEBM or another listed format before starting. The file extension is a container name; playback also depends on the video and audio codecs inside it.
What happens to quality
When the input codecs fit the output container, the server can copy streams without re-encoding. Otherwise it converts them to the target format. Re-encoding can change quality and size, so this tool does not guarantee lossless output or a smaller file.
Processing and playback checks
Video conversion uploads the file to the conversion server. Keep the page open until it offers a download. Play the result from beginning to end and check sound, duration and orientation. Additional audio tracks, subtitles and metadata are not guaranteed to survive.
If conversion fails
Check that the original plays locally and is within the 1GB file limit. An unsupported codec or damaged recording can fail even when the filename has a familiar extension. Export a fresh copy from the recording application, or try a shorter clip to identify whether the problem is the file or processing time.
