Lossless output cannot restore missing detail
Turning an MP3 into WAV or FLAC does not recover sound discarded by earlier compression. It can make the file larger. Keep a lossless source when available and avoid repeatedly converting between lossy formats.
Listen before replacing the source
Audio conversion runs on the server after upload. Check duration, channel balance, volume and the start and end of the recording. Album artwork, tags, chapters and multiple tracks are not guaranteed to transfer. This page uses presets rather than editable bitrate or sample-rate controls.
Troubleshoot a rejected recording
The file limit is 1GB, but a damaged file or unsupported codec can still fail. Confirm that the source plays, download cloud recordings fully before selecting them, and export a fresh file from the source app if needed.
